Dr. Lisa Saks joined Williams Eye Institute in August 2019. Her focus is on providing medical eye examinations and contact lens fittings, managing ocular diseases, and providing post-operative care following cataract surgery.
Dr. Saks graduated cum laude from Indiana University in May 1998. She continued her education at IU receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000 and then completed a medical residency at the Veterans Affairs Center in Danville, Illinois. There she focused on diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma management.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the International Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa, and has donated her time to the Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity (VOSH).
