Dr. Araba Otoo is a Ghanaian American residency-trained optometrist who joined Williams Eye Institute in 2023. She attained a Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 2022 and completed a residency training program in ocular disease from the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System, Fort Wayne.

She holds a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics with a concentration in Global Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health. She strives to incorporate elements of public health into optometry practice to ensure good visual health outcomes and contribute to the elimination of health disparities. 

Dr. Otoo runs a nonprofit organization called Cherish Eyesight and Vision Inc. to improve visual health literacy. She is a member of the American Optometry Association, The American Academy of Optometry, the National Optometry Association, and the American Public Health Association. Outside of delivering eye care, Dr. Otoo has a passion for cooking and loves sharing food with others.
