I definitely recommend Williams Eye Institute if you have problems with your eyes. The staff is welcoming and professional. The doctors are attentive and caring. I'll amend this review once I have my lasik surgery to remove the cataracts in both my eyes. UPDATE: THE surgery went well. No problems.

Every step of the visit went very smoothly. What room to go to what test was going to be performed and eye drops needed to perform test. Results of test explained. Very pleased with the whole visit.

Every time I go I am impressed with the efficiency of the operation and how smoothly things flow. However, this last visit (my third trip, and second to the new building) I waited 2 hours past my scheduled appointment time. I even arrived 35 minutes early to have my YAG follow up done on my first eye. No explanation, no "we'll be with you shortly" or anything. Two hours?? As I said I have always been impressed with the operation, but this time I was not impressed.

The office staff was very cordial and professional. The technicians and doctor answered all my questions thoroughly and explained the options well without trying to upsell me to an unnecessary procedure.

I had an extremely positive experience when I visited Williams Eye Institute in Hammond for a cataract consultation. The staff was extremely professional. I was particularly impressed with Dr. Ann Williams who conducted my examination. She was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. She performed a thorough examination and gave me excellent advice.
